A rare opportunity exists for a driven, enthusiastic, energetic and supportive leader to coordinate our Bentley Auto Service Centre workshop.

Reporting to the Centre Development Manager and working as part of a cohesive team to support the overall success and strategy of the centre and RAC, this role leads a team including a senior technician, technicians, apprentices and courtesy driver/detailer.

 

What will you be doing?

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating workshop operations which includes a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Support, guidance and supervision of workshop staff’s daily activities
  • Allocation of repair orders to workshop staff
  • Conducting scheduled and ad-hoc fault diagnostic checks
  • Checking all vehicle safety reports to ensure quality high standards of reporting are maintained
  • Conducting quality control checks on all work performed
  • Assisting with sourcing pricing information and parts for repair quotes
  • Reporting on plant and equipment maintenance requirements
  • Undertaking vehicle servicing and repairs when required
  • Managing and controlling end to end stock and parts management
  • Adherence to Health and Safety legislative and RAC requirements 

 

What are we looking for in you?

  • The ability to manage the day to day operations of a team
  • The ability to lead, support, encourage and motivate your team
  • An outstanding level of mechanical servicing and fault diagnostic skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conflict resolution skills
  • Outstanding delivery of service excellence to members, customers and suppliers both face to face and over the phone
  • Strong level of computer literacy
  • Motor Vehicle Repairers Licence

This role requires an individual with proven hands on leadership ability and experience, excellent prioritisation and organisational skills along with a genuine desire to develop themselves and others.
